CyprusMy girlfriend and I were doing a tour of Austria and we wanted a calm place to simply switch off and relax. Imlauer Hotel Schloss Pichlarn was an excellent choice. We actually liked it so much that we stayed an extra night. We chose the breakfast and dinner option. I have to say that the price was more than fair for Austria during the peak summer season. The entire experience was incredible. The hotel had organized transport for us from the train station. The staff was really polite (especially Patrick). Everything was really clean and the view from the winter garden is incredible. There are a lot of visitors who go there to play golf, but there are a lot of other experiences to be had. We went on a day trip to Hallstatt. It is just 45 minutes by train. You can also do day trips to other lakes. Much better than going from Salzburg. It was really an incredible experience that I will remember for a very long time. I highly recommend it. Also, don't forget to go on a quest and visit the local chicken farm. There is an automated store where you can buy local delicacies from the farmers!

Simply amazing! Incredibly beuatiful location, lovely clean rooms with awesome shower, the house has an old charm and most importantly the owners are extremely nice, friendly, chatty and willing to help. Plus there is a cute cat. And also breakfasts are really delicious with lots of options. Everything exceeded my expectations and I'll happily come again, thank you so much! Loved it 10/10

Such a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The scenery was stunning. Historic beauty with modern amenities. Lovely indoor and outdoor pools. Beauty treatments were good. Clean, friendly with good food.

Have been here a couple of times, for a winters break and cross skiing. They have a perfect balance between luxury and a cosy setting, excellent dining and most importantly an excellent and friendly staff! Hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic in every way, I can’t praise it enough. It’s an 1000 year old castle but feels as nice as a new building. The staff is incredibly helpful and always with a smile on their face, it’s spotlessly clean, the spa is great (outdoor pool and jacuzzi and all the saunas you can hope for). It’s a bit pricey but you truly get what you pay for: royal treatment at a castle

1. Beautiful hotel, we were astonished by surrounding mountains. Cozy atmosphere, just as I imagined it.
2. The best breakfast I've had in a long time, local products, amazing choices.
3. Perfect half-pension included, big thank you to the waiters, who were really nice to us and our messy little girl.
4. We got room upgrade, which was really nice touch. Comfy, big room.

Very friendly excellent staff. Dinner we received as complimentary out of kindness. We arrived very late but they still provided dinner and give us all the best welcome. I highly recommend if someone wants to have a short relaxing weekend getaway in a beautiful neighborhood.
