Romantic Hotels in Poysdorf

This place is for Wine Lovers. I mean, if you do not drink wine, you will not appreciate this place the way we did. Family run, wine based hotel. Their wine production started in 1783 or something like this, and the family tree is proudly displayed on the wall. Upon arrival we have tried 5 wines. There was a sect for breakfast (which we could not enjoy as we were driving on). You can buy their wines -- after tasting -- or the next day, to make sure that you know what you are doing ;-) Very good breakfast. Staff speaks English. A lot more wine around ;-)))))))

A very cozy and well-kept hotel in a small but very beautiful town. We arrived in the evening, and even though reception is only open until 7 p.m., they kindly left the key for us. After arriving, we found a local pizzeria that was still open until 10 p.m., where we had a very tasty meal and spent a pleasant evening. The location is excellent if you need an overnight stay near the Austrian–Czech border. It is also very conveniently located when traveling to Vienna.
