Hotel Berghof has the authentic local charm and personal care that can only come from a family run business. The hotel itself feels like coming home with how the staff treat you and the comfort of the hotel. The food in the restaurant is local, fresh, very flavorful, and some of the best I've had in Austria (I have been coming multiple times for 10+ years). On top of it all, the proximity to great skiing, hiking, and the Dachstein view is hard to beat. I will definitely be back.

The food is delicios, take a HalfBoard is you are planning to stay in this hotel - you will be definetely surprized with a tasty foods served here. The place is family friendly - you can find here a play-room (suitable for toadlers as well as for youth - PS 3 and PS4 available) After a long walk or bicecling the best place will be a cosy bar with local drinks. ARX guest house is a wonderful place to stay if you're skiing in the schladming area. Just an extremely short walk to the trails at Hochwirzen. Couldn't be more convenient for skiing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel was modern and clean with fantastic views. A great breakfast was included, and you can actually eat dinner at their in-house restaurant. Another great feature is that they have their own ski rental shop on the ground floor. High quality equipment in excellent condition.
