Highly recommended! Great stop on our Basque cycling tour and the small apartment with terrace was perfect for us on Easter Monday as we could cook a little dinner and run a load of laundry. Very friendly owner and pleasant rural setting with views. A few bar/cafes just up the small hill in town.

Lovely historic property. Staff were lovely and helpful and the food in the restaurant good. We were walking the Camino del Norte and initially worried at the 1.5km walk from town to the hotel but it was a lovely flat paved walk next to a stream and having a restaurant on site meant we could relax in the evening and not have to walk into town

Friendly staff and welcome. Nice room with comfortable bed. Good lunch. Breakfast was waitress service with hams, cheese and toast. Lovely old mill with central area for relaxing then accessing the rooms. Take a concrete road off the camino to Extebarria rather than longer route via Markina and back.

Super loved our stay.. a beautiful old stone building with a modern incarnation as a stylish hotel, lovely staffs, good restaurant.. very comfortable stay, everything was clean and in perfect working order, and the one night here was a nice respite while walking the Camino del Norte.. a bit off the path after a long day, but not anything to worry about. Would happily recommend to others

Beautifully restored old foundry with hardwood everywhere.Tastefully and interestingly decorated with good art and quality comfortable furnishings.Excellent breakfast included in price.Evening menu very good.Friendly ,efficient staff.Lovely ,calm atmosphere.I had a large balcony with wicker sofa,chair and table(room 204 I think.)Set among trees,a river and fields.

On arrival after a long tiring camino walk, a very pleasant lady organised drinks for us prior to check in and a friendly welcome. It's a beautiful accommodation and a lovely stop off.
