Incredible location adjoining an amazing church at a great price. Rooms were large and comfortable with dramatic Mountain Views. We woke up late our first morning and missed breakfast. The lovely lady at the cafeteria made us breakfast specifically and saved our morning. Highly highly recommend staying here!

This place was an unexpected total gem. We were a group of 9 people doing a pilgrimage through northern Spain, and this was by far one of our best experiences. Larañaga is a family owned business by Alfred, Maria, and their daughter Olatz. They welcomed our group with great attention and care. They made us feel like their own family. It probably helped that Maria seemed especially fond of our priest traveling with us :-) The rooms were spacious, clean, and almost luxurious. We were treated to dinner the first evening and breakfast the next morning with phenomenal Basque cuisine. The breakfast had a huge variety of homemade pastries and delicacies of Basque cuisine. I felt like this was a steal for the price they charged. Frankly, it seems ridiculous to me that this is listed as a 1 star hotel. It felt more like a 3-4 star hotel.
