The restaurant is also a fantastic added value—delicious dishes and great atmosphere. And don’t miss the fondue de cocher, it’s an absolute must-taste! I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional team. From the warm welcome by the staff outside the doors to the efficient reception and helpful concierge, which were at my service almost 24hr and always supported with any request, every interaction was pleasant. The frequent shuttle service to the city center was a huge plus, making it easy to explore. I also appreciated the convenience of having a ski rental store within the hotel and the seamless service to the sister hotel, which provided direct access to the ski entrance. The sauna was great

We have stayed in many places across the French Alps over the years, but Chambre d'Hôte La Barmaz in Combloux is one of the most charming and memorable we have encountered. From the moment we arrived, Gilles and Martine made us feel completely at home. We stayed in a triple room, travelling as a family with our teenage daughter, and the space was perfect for the three of us. Cosy and warm with wonderful Alpine character, it blended traditional charm with modern comforts. The bed was supremely comfortable and the shower hot and beautifully appointed — we slept wonderfully every night. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight — generous and genuinely filling. Exactly what you need before a long day on the slopes . One evening, Gilles prepared a wonderful fondue for guests. A convivial, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable occasion that perfectly captured the spirit of the place. The kind of evening you simply cannot plan for and will not easily forget. The quality of the accommodation is exceptional, but it is honestly surpassed by the warmth and generosity of your hosts. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Gilles in particular has a natural gift for making guests feel genuinely cared for without it ever feeling forced or formal. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are visiting Combloux — ski season or otherwise — look no further. Merci infiniment, Gilles et Martine. À bientôt !

The view from the balcony 💚💚💚 It's spacious enough for two people and you will find everything you need :)

Perfect accommodation for our last minute ski trip. Very close to the ski lift and ski hire facility. Giselle was extremely friendly and helpful, despite the language barrier! We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, steam and sauna after a day on the slopes. Everything was very clean and all the little things were super cute and a great touch like little tealights being lit for us next to the hot tub. The bar and restaurant were also great- good food and friendly staff. Highly recommend. The location was fantastic. You could either walk 1 minute to the slopes of La Giettaz and ski that part of the mountain or ski down to Megeve Jaillet and get the bus across to the rest of the Mont Blanc Ski Domaine. Just be aware of the time to catch the last lift back over. A couple of days we drove directly to Megeve and parked in the Mont D’Arbois covered parking which was great value and allowed for more time on the slopes and access to Megeve itself

We loved being in the mountains. Also, the meals were very good especially the meals of the day that were offered. It was great to have a pool to use at this location.

Fantastic place at sight of the MontBlanc. A pleasure to wake up at 2am and see the headlamps in the distance. Tasty food at the restaurant. Owners and staff very kind.
