The staff were very nice and accommodating. We needed extra fans and a room change due to the road traffic. Our first room was right on the road and we had to keep the windows open due to the heat wave. The food was fabulous. I loved being able to eat right there. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all tremendous. The breakfast was included and was abundant. I had the Burrata salad for dinner and had to go back and eat it again for lunch the next day. Prices were very reasonable.

Arrived in the evening so didn’t have a meal but the breakfast was great. Nice friendly pub was good to relax with a drink after a long journey. Bit of a task to find the village through narrow lanes at times but was worth it. Would stay here again no hesitation. Room smallish but not an issue. Slept as well as i ever do when away in a strange bed. Lovely and quiet.

Staff were fantastic. Rachel and the team made our stay very special with some lovely personal touches (it was our wedding weekend). The hotel is quaint and cosy and they do the most delicious breakfasts. Really happy with our choice.

In a peaceful, rural location, this country house was originally built in 1845. Today, the house has been converted into a luxurious privately owned hotel with many beautiful original features.

I stayed one night at the hotel with my son due to an event nearby. The property has a secure gated car park, with spacious rooms that are clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they have the best selection of gins I’ve ever seen at a bar! Nice breakfast and would definitely stay again.
