Wonderful breakfast, and the owner was very helpful with directions. It was a 15 minute walk to the old town, which was surprisingly quaint. We had a good and reasonably priced dinner at the restaurant next door. Sopron is historically significant in Hungarian history, but is not well known at least to me.

The Sopron Monastery Hotel is located in garden part the city, surrounded by forests and on top of a hill, offering an excellent panorama. The property is 2.2 mi from the center of Sopron.

Very nice hotel, great playroom for small children, and in general very childfriendly. Also great location, and very rich breakfast and dinner. I really recommend this hotel for families and I hope we will back during summer to try the outside pool too.

This is an elegant hotel from a bygone era, but the facilities and the service are everything you would expect from a modern hotel. My room was large and beautifully furnished, the delicious buffet breakfast is served in a banquet room with fancy furniture and crystal chandeliers. All of that, and the price I paid for the room was so reasonable! I kept sending pictures to my friends and family saying, "Can you believe I'm getting ALL THIS for THIS MUCH money?

Palatinus Hotel can be found right in the historical center, close to the symbol of the city, the Tűztorony (Fire Tower) and only 328 feet from the Liszt Ferenc conference hall.

Rooms are very well equiped. Spatious. New. Air conditioned. Staff is very pleasant and nice. Best bed i ever slept in. Breakfast was satisfactory.
