Romantic Hotels in Castellana Grotte

It was really clean and we really liked the setup of the hotel. The breakfast was really nice and really tasty. The hotel was perfect if you are looking for something relaxing and calm.

Breakfast was amazing! 4 kinds of localy baked cakes, yoghurt, eggs, saliami, sausages etc. - great choice!!! Very comfortable bed and clean bed sheets.

Very nice family managing this enchanting place. It felt very homely, and the whole complex is clean, decorated with nice details. The breakfast is another strength, always made with homemade and local products. I would highly suggest staying at Fontana Vecchia!

This is a wonderful, exquisite , boutique property. Each breakfast was scrumptious and varied. The owners are thoughtful and helpful. It is a central location to Monopoli and Polignano. I can thoroughly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed!

The property had lots of character and charm with interesting history. Beautiful spaces. Surrounded by olive trees orchards. It was super peaceful. Pino is an incredible host, patient with our poor Italian, and Angela is a wonderful baker!

Being also an owner and host of a traditional property in cyprus and a lover of local culture and architecture i was amazed by the property and the hospitality of the hosts. The property consists of two sections the rooms section and the reception and dining area which was the last renovated. The renovation of a very old building is a very complex process and i can only say that it was done to perfection preserving the old character and providing the necessary comforts. The family also cooks for the guests with local ingredients, ( dairy products are from their own cows!) an amazing experience far better from commercial hotels. Location is ok if you re just exploring the province , nothing much very close around (alberobello around 15minutes away) but still definitely worth it.

The pool was great for kids. It has a big area with shallow water. For adults, nearby forest with "exercise trail" was an opportunity to "hit the gym". But then, with the amount of awesome local food and wine, it was necessary. The room was cleaned every day and it showed.

Luigi and Maria made us feel like family. The Puglia breakfast prepared fresh every morning was exceptional. You can feel the pride with which they share their rich knowledge of the area and keep up the property. The trulli suite was great and pool always sparkling clean. Luigi switched between Italian, French, German and English depending on his guests, and was quick to share tips about places to visit, good places to eat and general information about the area. We loved it here so much, we extended our stay from one day to three. Great spot for a base to explore the area.

One of most relaxing places we've ever stayed at. The owners and staff were just fantastic. Everything about the place from the rooms to the pool to the breakfast and it's location have been created to let you relax and enjoy the moment.

I like everything.the place is really nice ,very quiet very clean with a nice deco .Salita is magical.the owner is so very kind and is always there to help and explain everything you need.Angela is An angel and I think I was in paradise. she even did a delicious breakfast everyday for us.Thank you..I recommend Salita million time😍

We loved being here, from the moment we drove up the driveway. Isabelle is amazing and makes you feel so welcomed. Her breakfast is sensational too. I wished we stayed longer than 2 nights!
