Lovely design, great breakfast, easy to use/rent bikes from the hotel.

Excellent hotel! We stayed for two days and here are some things we especially liked: - the room, which is very spacious and clean, plus it has a very nice balcony/patio, and you can actually open the door/let fresh air in; - the breakfast, which had everything we wanted, e.g., scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, vegetables, coffee/tea, fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, pastry, etc. You could have breakfast either inside or outdoors; - the building, which is absolutely beautiful; - the service, we asked for a twin bed room, request which they granted, moreover, the receptionist was kindly called a taxi for us when we checked out. We were also given the option to save 6 Euro for every day we chose not to have cleaning done. We opted out, since we reckoned we would bring sand to the room which we wanted removed. But it was a good option to have nevertheless.

The owner has done a great job transforming this property into comfortable, relatively spacious, pretty rooms. It is easy to tell she values tending to the details. Our breakfast was fabulous and such a nice way to start the day!

The hotel is centrally located and easy to reach from the train station. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was clean and had everything needed for a short stay.

Amazing selection at breakfast, and the host accommodated my gluten free, dairy free allergy. Super comfy bed, great shower, lovely view of the bell tower from our room. Great location within walking distance of great restaurants, museum, wharf, markets, etc. Guest umbrellas! Lady of the house is a lovely warm person. Stately and creative decor. Very reasonable price (for us we went off season to visit family in the area, so can't speak to high season). Fantastic location in fall though, and I suspect cozy in winter and spring.

The hotel had beautiful features and was on a quiet street, with a garden out back to enjoy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and breakfast in the dining room made a great start to each day.

Really nice town, welcoming staff and great breakfast

This is not the Ritz-Carlton and that is one of the many reasons it is so amazing! This the oldest hotel in the Netherlands, located in a quaint village with historic charm. We enjoyed the gorgeous view during breakfast and shopping in the little shops in Veere. Parking is close and you receive a significant discount if you pay through the hotel. Pets are welcome. Seeing the sailboats & yachts coming and going throughout the day was really pleasant. The staff were wonderful. We highly recommend!

Spatious room. Very quiet hotel and neighbourhood. Nice restaurant. Perfect location (within walking distance of Zoutelande).

Best breakfast wide variety of choice great people good bistro and restaurant great rooms clean nicely decorated, we rented e bikes all available and organised, we will definitely be back
