We really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of this resort. Eating an excellent breakfast each morning overlooking the lake and manicured putting greens was a very nice start to the day. The room was quite spacious for two people, and the bathroom was very good. Located quite close to the airport, it was an easy drive after a long day travelling. Christchurch is a great city, and we found it easy to find our way from Peppers to the city center. It was well located to be able to head north to the Waipara Valley wineries and west to the mountains. Lots of other services in the nearby suburbs. Highly recommended.

We were delighted with this hotel. The warm welcome from the team, delightful garden setting with plenty of attractive seating options both inside and out, great restaurant, comfortable room. The location is super convenient for the airport yet quiet and peaceful.

Very good, modern motel rooms, real value: space, facilities, cleanliness, location close to airport and over the road from a large supermarket. Nearby on Cranford Avenue is a good Thai restaurant. Good parking. Manager very helpful.

Originally built in the 1880s, Merivale Manor offers elegant and luxurious accommodations with free WiFi access. Christchurch city center is only a 5-minute drive away.
