Romantic Hotels in Manteigas

Excellent stay. Room is very comfortable and clean. Staff are very nice and polite. Parking available on-site. Breakfast was excellent as well. The views are amazing.

The building is old and full of character. Large rooms and large comfy beds. Manteigas is also the most beautiful village we visited in Portugal, set in the mountains with narrow streets and small interesting shops.

Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and pleasant — truly going above and beyond. I felt genuinely welcome from the first moment. The room was very warm, comfortable, and cozy, which made the stay especially relaxing. Everything was clean and well maintained. Special thanks to the team for their honesty and support — their help left a lasting positive impression. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Such a great village The apartment had a great view of the beach swimming area on the river and the goat herdsmen with their dogs as flock going up the mountain early for grazing… Good tip would be to by food as the place had a kitchen Best home made cheese and such from the original mini super market!! So close also for swimming in the Lagoon further up the mountain towards Torre

Cozy and clean room, good location

Woderful stay! Perfect location with plenty of shop's ,cafe's and restaurants within walking distance. Clean room with comfortable bed and sufficient water pressure in the shower! Highly recommend !
