The proprietor was one of the most welcoming I have encountered in my 80,000km bicycle ride around the world. Greeting us with “Bring the bicycles inside and store them securely on the patio.” Music to a cyclist’s ears! And very friendly and pointing us to the “best restaurant within 100 kilometers.” True! And, conveniently, 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel was charming and super clean and super comfortable. Great beds, a lovely deck overlooking the city (and the finest restaurant for 100kilometers). A really great stay for a weary cyclist—-obrigado! Michael Himes

#1 Cristina, the manager, was extremely helpful. High ceilings, gorgeous staircase and my room came with French doors to a little balcony overlooking the cobblestone, pedestrian street. Wonderful location in Beja. And the breakfast room was generous, included and a nice atmosphere to meet other guests.
