We couldn’t fault the hotel. It was a charming old hotel with loads of quirky fixtures. The location of the hotel is waking distance to the restaurants and the lake. The breakfast was meant to be continental but it was more than that. Superb

I cannot believe what an amazing staff they have. Everyone was wonderful from check-in, pool service, breakfast service and even maintenance staff. It is unusual to find such a great team. Zee was our check-in person and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The maintenance man had to add chemicals to the pool (normal daily cleaning) and we were swimming at the time but he was considerate and kind and respectful to us and within no time we were back swimming. Breakfast staff was quick about making sure everything was clean and stocked up.
