This place hits the basic winning trifecta. Super comfortable bed, excellent shower and big fluffy towels. On top of that nice views and spotlessly clean. The owner was a great person to boot. As a side note I must have missed/deleted a message somewhere regarding some of the details. To check in head to the adjacent restaurant and the owner, I’m sure, will be there to take care of you. Breakfast is included and served in the restaurant. Fresh squeezed OJ is a great way to start the day!

The room was spacious and there was an elevator. The house was quiet and Ana, the host, changed our pillows when we mentioned they were too high for us. She was very attentive and pleasant. She gave us advise on things to do and places to see nearby. She even let us use the breakfast room, which was cool and spacious, to do some work. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed it. The place and the host were both lovely.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the wine list and we particularly loved the Cove they have with a Jacuzzi for a romantic evening. Loved the ambiance and how the hotel seems like new, even though I visited over 10 years ago.

The building is a work of art worth visiting and seeing in daylight and especially at night. The overnight stay is a must! We enjoyed the included winery tour with wine tasting and huge breakfast the next day. For dinner we decided to try the Non-Michelin restaurant and its extraordinary tasting menu.

Located in Elciego on the Rioja-Alavesa Wine Route, this property features a 15th-century winery. Agroturismo Valdelana offers modern accommodations and a museum.
