Location was perfect, walkable to everything in Medjugorje. The staff were so friendly and hospitable.

The room and staff are wonderful

It was so clean and simple. They offered tea at all times. It felt very much like staying in a monastery. The breakfast was grand! I loved the staff. They were amazing. Joseph and Lawrence, they all do hard work and keep the place running smoothly. You will not regret staying here. I will stay here whenever in Medjugore!

Food, atmosphere and personality

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Phoenix recently, and we were really impressed. The breakfast was superb - the quality and variety of the food was remarkable, and we were under impression it was all locally and organically grown. The service was also top-notch. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly polite and accommodating. But what really made our stay memorable was our host, Mark. Although he is the manager of the hotel, he really went out of his way to ensure our comfort. His communication skills are excellent, and he made us feel like valued guests. What sets Hotel Phoenix apart is its unique blend of comfort and warmth. It doesn't feel like typical hotel, you can tell they genuinely care about their guests' experience. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay during our trip. A big thank you to Mark and the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Clean and modern hotel in a great location. Only a two minute walk to St James Church. Staff on reception were very helpful, especially Anna.

It was in a great location. The host greeted us and offered free wine and cake. She was very chatty. She showed us around.

Wonderful, clean and close to centre. Host was extremely kind and accommodating.

It was a very nice location. We were walking in nature when taking the paths to the Main Street. There were fig trees, grapes, blackberry bushes, lime trees, kiwi trees olive oil bushes. Beautiful scenic route going to the property. At night the sheep would come across the pathway to graze on the grass. There were hens close by as well. Loved the rock walls.

Small hotel but you have everything you need and staff super friendly, rich breakfast, free parking .

Property was close to everything but in a quiet spot. Spotless and clean and new. Room was a 5*. Entire bldg was modern and nice. Family run who were super friendly and accommodating (Tony and his wife and Yosef and their dad was always smiling and helpful). Breakfast was amazing had something for everyone. I can’t say enough good things about Hotel 81. Definitely a great place to stay for your Medjugorje trip

Very nice view from the upper room, very nice Interior decoration. Quit and peaceful, no noise from outside. Very friendly staff. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is spotless clean. Staff were really helpful and friendly - and went over and above to meet our requirements. Breakfast was really good each morning and the location was excellent to St James Church. Could not fault this hotel in any way. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Medjugorje. I highly recommend this hotel.

First thing I want to mention is about the staff, very supportive. My father had a strong vertigo crisis arriving in town and the hotel staff was amazing on supporting us, caring to make everything easier, smooth and comfortable for my father. Everyone was really awesome and I can’t thank enough! About the hotel, rooms are large and very comfortable. Plenty of space for parking. The property is walking distance from the main church and very close to restaurants and stores.

Our stay at Hotel Dalija was wonderful!! The staff was so friendly, going above and beyond to do what they could to make us comfortable. The rooms were clean, neat, and stocked with what we needed. Highly recommend eating at Gringo Cafe, the restaurant attached to the hotel - it was delicious ha great service there as well! The hotel was about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from St. James which was perfect. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again next time we visit Medjugorje!!

It is located across the street from St James, literally a few minutes walk. Also, it's in the heart of the shops and restaurants, perfect location. The place is clean, comfortable beds, great breakfast; but most of all, the owner is so attentive, helpful and joyful. The best hospitality I have ever had in a hotel. Thank you Mate

The stay was perfect, the room very comfortable, the best shower and the breakfast out of mind. Great peace. Staff very friendly. The location is just nearby the starting point of the Appereances Mountain.

Hotel Stana is very close, about half a block, to Saint James church. The host and his wife we were welcoming and happy to help us and gave us great suggestions on where to eat. The breakfast they provided was very delicious and it was a pleasure to stay with them.

Beautiful place. We stayed with 2 young children and they absolutely loved it. We only stayed 1 night but wish we could have stayed more. - Great restaurant (reasonably priced) - Helpful staff - Children playground - Close to Kravica Waterfalls
