United StatesThe location was quiet and peaceful, perfectly tucked away in nature and in close to proximity to the beach and jungle adventures. The host is absolutely lovely, she made many efforts to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. She is well connected to the local community and provided a variety of fun options for tours in the area. I stayed for a few weeks and find this to be the perfect accommodation for a longer visit, especially if you're working while traveling, as well as exploring the area of Praia de Forte. The staff ensured my villa remained clean throughout the stay and was very helpful, despite my lack of fluent Portuguese. I will certainly be returning! (I stayed in the Apto Lar, but all the suites look lovely)

Lovely apartment, great location, very helpful manager. The apartment has all the essentials and little extras; kitchen is very well equipped, there are plenty of towels and very comfortable bed, some books and tv are also available. Nice little private balcony. Air conditioning working well. Location was perfect for us - just 10 min walk to the beach, but reasonably away from the noise of the main street. Just on the doorstep there is a pharmacy, laundromat and bank, supermarket just couple minutes away. Highly recommended place to stay!

Fantastically appointed apartment, nice layout and design and very high quality finishings and kitchen. A lovely balcony with sun rise views over the ocean. Location is great, very nice part of the beach some great swimming a few minutes away.

The pool area is awesome, honestly, much nicer than I expected. The room is super comfortable, spacious and stylish. The staff is fantastic and so is the breakfast. you can't go wrong with this hotel!

The apartment and the condominium are awesome. The place is very quiet, ideal for a relax time, however close to the Villa and beachs. The apartment is very nice, full equiped and with an amazing terrace with a very nice view to the garden. Eugenio, the host, was very attentive during our stay.

The guesthouse is wonderful and super cozy. A charming welcome from the owners and staff, upon arrival you can see that the environment is very clean and welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and air-conditioned, with a deck overlooking the street. The inn offers a delicious and very varied breakfast, and anyone who visits the inn cannot miss the delicious "tapioca square".

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. Main buffet restaurant had a lot of good options for all meals and have different cuisines and themes throughout the week (we didn’t even care much about the other restaurants that required booking)
Entertainment was nice, one of the pool bands really delivered a great show (the best of out stay)

We enjoyed everything, from the amazing location (deserted beach in summer!), separation between fun and quiet swimming pools, food, service… Room was good size, clean. Very good value for money.

The beach front hotel room was very good, quiet and far from the pools. The room was air conditioned and included a fan. A bit far from the lobby, but this was expected considering the size of the Resort. The beach is pristine, the ocean water warm and the waves wonderful for surfing or just playing with. The Prestige Area is where we spent most of our time, it is well worth the extra cost, service and drinks are top notch. The Dinner Reservation Restaurants are all worth mentioning, very good food and service.

For the value, breakfast was very good!
Room was good as well, clean, good bed, air conditioning and could house up to 4 people easily.
Location was good as well, right beside main village street and 6 min walk to the beach.

We liked everything at Porto da Lua and we look forward to our next stay there. The hotel and the room are nice and cozy. The location is great, in a beautiful beach and within walk distance from the vila. Breakfast was amazing - one of the best that we have ever had.
