The courtyard is very comfortable, clean, and I didn't want to leave after staying here. The service was very attentive. Next time, I'll come again to a very warm guesthouse, and the room facilities are very complete

Facilities: Everything is complete, you can have everything you need, and you don't even need to go out to enjoy tea and coffee. There's also an observation deck on the third floor where you can see the entire old town Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Very good, very good

Great I love the location and facilities

Jinmao Purelax Lijiang exceeded every aspect of our expectations. The staffs are super polite and helpful, rooms are neat and clean. We can see the Yulong Snowy Mountain right at the balcony and at the buffet hall. The internal landscaping is gorgeous. With trees and flowers of all kinds surrounded, there's a great sized lake where black swans and ducks call it home too. The hotel also keeps a few alpacas, ponies, goats and boarder collies. Our children really enjoyed petting the animals and feeding the swans and fish every morning.

The beauty of Lijiang is half in the scenery and half in this small courtyard! The wooden building is warm, the flowers and plants are fragrant, the room is clean and comfortable, get up in the morning to visit the alleys of the ancient city, cook a pot of Pu'er in the evening, and feel the purest beauty of the ancient city!

Nice location! It’s near South Gate no.1 easy to find and a staff was very friendly. The room and bed were large and comfortable.

I upgraded to a suite because it was so well priced. The hotel is new and the amenities, like shampoo and bathroom accessories were a nice touch. The location is perfect, on a quiet alley in the heart of the ancient city. But the best part of my stay was the attentive staff who helped with everything including guiding me to a good restaurant to taking me to a computer store for an adapter. They even helped me do laundry. Highly recommend.

Beautiful courtyard, adorable dog. The room was clean and warm. Everyone at the guest house was incredibly friendly, especially the "Teacher" was well traveled and interesting to chat with. He was also knowledgeable about the Tiger Leaping Gorge and arranged a carpool to drop me off at the trail head, deliver my luggage to the end point, then bring me to Lijiang train station on day 2. I was also added to a WeChat group with the driver and the guesthouse staff, and since I don't speak Chinese, it was really helpful to have them jump in when I needed something.

Excellent location near old town, in a secure gated area. Our room was spacious and included an alcove with a view of the city, a couch, and even an extra bed (which we did not use). Host, especially "Mama," very attentive.

Location was great in Ancient Town which is amzing Room servicing person was fantastic. Breakfast was really good excellent variety. We had dinner at the Asian style restaurant twice and both times food and service was fantastic. Service from the staff also top standard.

The location is ideal: situated in a quiet neighborhood that ensured peaceful nights, yet only a short walk to the famous large water wheel and all the main attractions of Lijiang Ancient Town. Perfect balance of calm and convenience. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and varied every day, offering both traditional Chinese breakfast options and Western-style bread, salads, and more. We looked forward to it every morning. What impressed us most was the outstanding personalized service. The hotel assigned us a coordinator named Wei Li (a very helpful gentleman), who contacted us before arrival to arrange airport transfers, personally welcomed us upon check-in, provided excellent sightseeing recommendations, and arranged convenient transportation whenever needed. Overall, we loved our stay and felt well taken care of. This is the perfect choice for a hassle-free, high-quality experience in Lijiang Ancient Town. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return on our next trip!

The staff speaks English so it was easy to contact them. They also helped with everything I asked for. I was very impressed. The room was clean.

This location is the best of both worlds. It is steps away from the main roads which makes getting cars very easy and it is also a short walk to all of the best parts of the LiJiang Ancient town area. The breakfast is balanced and filling and the staff are always there ready to give suggestions and assistance to make your plans work out.

I loved my stay at The Ripplewood Sanctum. The location was great because it was in the old town but only a few minutes from the main road for when you need to get picked up for day tours. The manager was very nice and spoke great English. She was able to help me with finding tours and tea. The Hotel is infront of Three Wells and next to Mufu Mansion. The rooms were so modern and comfortable while still keeping traditional style. It was a smart room but you need to speak English to fully use it. Really enjoyed my stay here. Was affordable with great amenities. Will definitely come back!

Go to Lashihai to ride a horse, and the master recommended by the boss is super reliable and has no hidden consumption. When we came back, we also helped us brush the muddy shoes clean, dried them in the yard, and wore them warm and sunny the next day.

The staffs were super helpful and have a very good service mind. He helped so much with the room, transportation, and tour. You can have a peace of mind staying at this hotel with good hospitality. Highly recommended.
