The location is great, close to everything: transportation, food, nightlife, tours, the ocean, etc.
Also I like that it was clean and organized.
Beautiful view from the balcony, you can catch the sunsets!
The bedrooms have a good space closet with a safe deposit box,,a lamp for reading,TV and a sofa.

Ricardo was very welcoming. He adjusted his time to accommodate my arrival. Needed nothing during my stay. Close to supermarket and stores. Had a small safe to keep paperwork. Bathroom very clean. 2 Bedroom had air conditioning. Only one TV in the bedroom. Washing machine if you stay long with hang air drying. Apt I had was on 4th floor so lots of exercise. No elevator. Close enough and far enough from all activities. I had a nice stay and would stay there again. Good and clean at a very affordable price

Everything about Casa Gaitana was amazing. The building is a grand historic colonial building and our room (the presidential suite) was clean, comfortable and very very beautiful. Communication with our hosts was consistent and easy, location was perfect, breakfast was *chefs kisses*... cannot recommend this place enough.

Impressive renovated colonial house. Beautiful room with high ceilings. Windows to the indoor patio but that was fine, as it provided daylight and there was no walkway in front of our room.
Breakfast was varied, location very central. Central bar area was just around the corner, many restaurants nearby. Save area, also by night. No problem to do anything in this area by foot

The whole hotel has a lovely aesthetic. It looks very attractive. I liked my room, it had a really nice window seat and was really nicely decorated. The pool is very nice, although wasn't sure at first about if it was ok to sit on any of the seating areas after swimming but it was. It's in a great location not from the central area. It felt secure as there is a code to enter the main door. The roof terrace is also very nice. The shower was nice and the bed was fairly comfortable.

They gave us an upgrade and my room had space for three people instead of one :) The room was big and modern. The hotel has a small and very cosy pool available until very late :) the breakfast was great ! The hotel is located in the heart of Santa Marta historic Center !

Coworking space, nice place for meeting people.
I recommend the 8 beds shared bedroom because there is less noise.
The 8 shared bedroom is on Flamingo side, so the noise is not strong as in the other shared rooms.

The two-bedroom apartment was very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking all your meals. A few steps away is a lovely, very clean, dipping pool to cool down in on those very warm Santa Marta days. You are surrounded by a lovely "Adam and Eve" garden setting. Eric and Gena are Awesome hosts ready to help you any way they can. They took me on a wonderful mountain hike that ended at a beautiful river with an amazing place to swim. I look forward to staying with them again!!

We had the presidential suite whith a beautiful balcony.
Felt like having your own house.
The breakfast was served in the beautiful lobby close to the pool. The arepas and the service of Daiana was extraordinary!!! We will definately return.

The apartment is very spacious and has everything what you need. Kitchen is very well equipped. There is a balcony where you can have your morning coffee or an evening beer. Very flexible check-in and check out. Ricardo is a very good host, can give you a lot of tips about Santa Marta and surrounding. He takes care of every detail, helpful and answers quick on your questions. He also speaks very good English, what was very helpful as we don’t speak Spanish. He was traveller himself, so he really knows what guest need to feel home.
