Beautiful hotel. The pool was quite big! And the pool área is really nice to chill in. Our room was clean, well equiped and beautiful. Staff went above and beyond to help us with our every need. You will have a superb view while eating breakfast which is homemade. Parking in the área can be difficult but old town is just 10 minutes down the street and when you want to go back you can catch a taxi for 5 euro which we did every night. Stay here as many nights as you can!!!

Our stay in Crete was absolutely wonderful, and the biggest reason was the incredible owners, Babis and Angelina. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their kindness, warmth, constant smiles, and willingness to help with absolutely anything made our holiday truly special. People like them are very rare and are a real gem. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Everything was exceptionally clean, and you could see the care and attention put into every detail. The pool was fantastic—always warm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. In every aspect, our stay exceeded expectations. We left with wonderful memories and felt genuinely sad to say goodbye. We can't wait to come back!

Breakfast is standard, rooms are quite comfy, there seemed to have been a staff shortage (or an influx of guests as this is a destination for cruise guests) but I always managed to find a staff when I needed. The location cannot be beat.

Great place with excellent communication from hosts. We stayed here after a long travel day and before another long travel day to another part of Crete, and it was the perfect set up for the transition. The washing machine was a huge bonus and the sea views were beautiful!

Forest Park Hotel is located in a beautiful position on the hill above Rethymno, offering breathtaking views of the city, the sea, and stunning sunsets. From our balcony, we enjoyed a truly unforgettable panorama, which was one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is best reached by car, as the walk to Rethymno Old Town takes around 25 minutes downhill, with the return journey requiring a climb back up the hill. However, the elevated location rewards guests with peace, quiet, and spectacular scenery. The hotel grounds are exceptionally well maintained, with beautiful gardens featuring olive and citrus trees. There are two swimming pools: a larger pool for swimming and a smaller relaxation pool. Both were spotless and very inviting. The pool bar offers drinks, snacks, and food throughout the day, and the staff prepared excellent cocktails. The entire team was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was generous, varied, and delicious. The room was a little compact for two people, but it was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed, including towels, a mini fridge, and complimentary water. The bathroom was spacious, modern, and very clean. What impressed us most was the hospitality of the staff. After check-out, we still had several hours before heading to the airport, and the hotel kindly allowed us to continue using the pool and facilities. This thoughtful gesture made our final day much more enjoyable, and we are very grateful for their kindness. Overall, Forest Park Hotel exceeded our expectations. The beautiful location, stunning views, excellent facilities, delicious breakfast, and exceptional staff made our stay truly memorable. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rethymno.

The location is very central, close to all bars and restaurants, still quiet. The views are splendid, you see the lighthouse, sea and it just can't get any better. The bathroom and the room were clean, the balcony with table and chairs just made it perfect. We asked for an extra pillow and it was provided straight away. The host was very friendly too.
