IrelandMy first stay in Eccles and would definitely return. Did not get to spend much time in the hotel itself but when we were there we were very happy. Staff were very friendly, Bar food was gorgeous and great value. Only a short walk to the town. If a view is important to you ensure to pay the extra and book a Sea View room. Would return and recommend.

Excellent stay just outside Glengarriff. We booked the family room which is actually two rooms, one room with a double and one room with two singles, perfect for families. There is also a TV, kettle, fridge and microwave in the room. Very spacious and comfortable. Great choices for breakfast, we had the veggie breakfast, scrambled eggs and pancakes - all excellent. Super friendly hosts, Mary and Chris are kind and happy to provide lots of information about the local area. Overall, an excellent place to stay when visiting Glengarriff.

Conveniently situated near Glengarriff and touring the Wild Atlantic Way and the property had amazing Mountain View’s. Our room was fully equipped with kettle, fridge and microwave. We were also provided with fresh fruit and water and the room was cleaned regularly with fresh towels and bed linen.

Elegant sitting room beside reception and a bar onsite made for a relaxing time. Our room was well equipped with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and served in some style in a pleasant room. We found a path from the hotel grounds leading to the river bank and enjoyed a very pleasant walk.

Older hotel, well updated. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to answer our questions, even the ones we didn't know to ask. Place was clean. Had upstairs room in back overlooking trees, very quiet.

The kitchen was very well equipped, a very nice and thoughtful welcome package (included toothbrushes!) was waiting for us on arrival. Angela was wonderful and helped us with all our questions. It’s a spacious property with a nice garden area for when the weather is good. Cleanliness thoughout was excellent. We used it as a base to explore lots of the coast of Kerry and west Cork. All in all a lovely place to stay at and we’d love to come back.
