Rooms in Daisen

Loved the explanations of where the local food came from at the buffets. The Onsen and adjacent rest area were relaxing. The lighting was great! Your front staff is very helpful and we found the luggage storage area to be very convenient.

Most amazing hosts I've ever had, it felt like staying with a family rather than strangers. Kim, the owner, took extra care of me by lending his hiking shoes, poles, etc and even drove me to the bus the day I departed 🥹 Yuuko and the second Kim were also great people with very bright personalities. The place was ultra clean, the food amazing (try their budae jigae!) and right by the start of the hiking trail. I hope to comeback

We really like the central location, on the doorsteps of Daisen-ji Temple. The room is decorated with taste and the bed very comfortable. Shared bath with a big round porcelain tub is a must try. Most impressive is the dinner course using all local Daisen ingredients. We stayed for two nights and the chef was able to make different but equally fantastic dishes for us.

FBI - Daisen was an awesome camping experience. Really cool camp ground with fun selection of fully equipped cabins/lodging. We stayed in the “Robin” and it was perfect for our little family of 3. Bathroom was very clean and the upstairs bedroom was great. We went in mid- April and the weather was perfect. Would come back again in the future

Great japanese style rooms, I love futons! Very large and clean room. Amazing dinner and breakfast. Wonderful sento. Withing walking distance from trails on Mount Daisen

Relatively cheap for a family of four. We did not have a dog, but I saw other families check in with pets. The host was kind and had a small bag of fireworks for sale, which was fun for our children. The seaside road was beautiful.

The quality of the hotel and meals far exceeded our expectations. We like the idea of a hybrid dinner (first courses were served, followed by buffet), and the breakfast buffet was very good.

The location, the comfort and all the enmities were outstanding. The owner thought of everything!

Location was great, very nice deck with a great view. Bath room was nice and large. Has a large kitchen to prepare your own food if you wish. Also has a restaurant on the 2nd floor, great burger.

Everything, the view, the staff, the food, the cleanliness. Everything was amazing.
