BrazilOur stay at Itamuro Onsen was truly exceptional. Words can hardly capture how special this place is. Surrounded by exquisite nature, beautifully curated furniture and ceramics, a sophisticated art library, and gardens designed by renowned artist Kishio Suga, it was a memorable experience. The onsens were perfect for the relaxation you need after spending some days in a busy city like Tokyo.
A special thanks to Koki, who kindly showed us around Suga's museum and shared insights about the special project that is Itamuro. We're already looking forward to returning soon!

The hotel is large, including a spacious buffet-style dining area. There are also three large and inviting onsen facilities available for guests to enjoy. Breakfast and dinner buffet still okay for us.

Breakfast spread was good, traditional japanese breakfast, toast and sausages. Dishes were topped up promptly. We chose JS style room. The shower is separated from the bath tub. The bathroom, toilet and wash basin were separated, so the wash area was spacious. The futon area was spacious, and there were enough space to open our two luggages for packing.

Beautiful location with an excellent balance of Japanese architecture and modern art. The staff was excellent and the rooms well appointed. We enjoyed a garden view and the fire pit in the evening. Excellent food which they catered to my food preferences.

Stayed at the Nasushiobara Station Hotel for 1 night. It is located right next to the Nasushiobara station by taking the west exit. Just look for the tall yellow building with a big Hotel sign on the top of the roof. The room that I stayed in was a Japanese-style room. There is lots of space in the room and the Tatami was quite comfy. Buffet-style breakfast was included during my stay and it was pretty good with some Japanese and Western assortment. The staffs I encounter in this hotel are very friendly.
