Rooms in Shodoshima

The pool area and the rooms were fantastic. The bed and bedding were luxurious. The view is outstanding.

The accommodations were perfect, clean and ulta modern along with a beautiful view. We did get the breakfast it was perfectly prepared and delicious.

Quaint, old school 20th century Japanese hotel. Nice traditional room. The location is very out of the way, a taxi to and from the town is necessary if you don’t have a car.

A very beautiful house with gorgeous views on the sea and access to a cute beach. Excellent vibes too! It was amazing waking up to the sound of birds and waves. Lovely hosts! They offer a small delicious breakfast and some precooked meals if you don't feel like cooking.

Wonderful place. Small room but very cozy, cam with a small couch and table. Location is Amazing, you can see the beach from your bed. You can even see it from the toilet. It comes with a nice cafe in the front where you can have breakfast and the owners also helped us with keeping our luggage while we made a small trip around the island before leaving. The 24 Eyes movie village is right across the bay and there is a guy who will take you by boat. Just visit the nearby information center.

Amazing view onsen, world-class “omotenashi” service, spectacular food (morning & dinner buffet is amazing-strongly recommend half-boarding options since there’s really no good restaurants around and cheaper to book it online than adding it at the hotel), free drink (coffee & tea)and free shuttle bus service from every port (reservation needed by a day before)

We stayed for one week in this amazing apartment and truly enjoyed our time there. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed. It gave us an authentic experience of staying in a traditional Japanese home. When the fridge stopped working, the host provided outstanding support and came immediately to replace it with a new one. Highly recommended!

The host provided clear instructions before check-in, we were able to find the house easily enough. The house was as it was in the photos, although it was clear that it was an older house. It was still relatively clean, with the exception of the kitchen which had greasy floors and smelled a bit funny at night. I liked the loaf of bread that was given to us for free but we didn't eat it.
