Rooms in Grorud

Staff helped us book suitable rooms after we left a terrible apartment rental (see other reviews for caution!). Rooms were well appointed and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast spread was fantastic!

The hotel is new and facilities are nice. Friendly reception and gave a lot of advices during our stay. Nice restaurant and tasty food, various breakfast.

It was basic, but perfect. I spent most of the day outside, so for a 7-day stay, it has everything you need. The staff were friendly. The property is close to public transport.

The hotel is in a great location near excellent public transport links and the Sogn student village which was perfect for us.

This is not an apartment; this is a luxury level, fully-equipped with EVERYTHING you need, an actual HOME, maybe this is why it is called Julia’s hem. It is VERY cozy, home-like; the interior is great, the apartment is very spacious, warm enough, it is simply a pleasure to spend a night there. But you can easily live for a week or so - the kitchen has ALL you can possibly need for cooking, there are even spices, olive oil, all dishes you can think of; the bathroom is spacious, comfortable and clean, actually everything was exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed and sofa, great patio with a nice view at the inside yard. This is honestly one of the most AMAZING places I’ve ever stayed at, and all this at a really affordable price, which is so rare, considering it is Oslo. HIGHLY recommended! Great communication with the friendly host as well.

The place was very clean and cozy, even if it's not in the city center, there's a super fast bus that can take you to the center in around 15 minutes. Really nice!

There is a subway stairs down underground almost right outside of the apartment building perhaps 50 meter away. This is very unique and makes mobility exceptional with Oslo City. For this feature alone I can highly recommend this place. The area is in a thriving friendly Muslim community. It feels very safe this neighborhood. Parking is excellent. You only have to walk perhaps 300 meters from car to the apartment on asphalt. Excellent 👌

I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference. The location is amazing especially that it’s very close to Lutvann. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. If you are an Arab and don’t speak English, don’t worry at all. The hotel has two of the kindest receptionists I have ever met: Mohammed and Ibrahim. They both speak Arabic and will gladly help you with anything you need, from check-in to the best recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and making the most of your entire stay. A very special thank you to my brothers, Mohammed and Ibrahim. Thank you for everything—for your kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service. You truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

THIS WAS DEFINITELY A BAD CHOICE FOR US, I BOOKED IT BECAUSE MOST HOTELS IN OSLO ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE , THIS HAD GOOD SCORES OVERALL ON BOOKING . COM, BUT WE HAD A VERY HARD TIME FINDING AND GETTING TO THE PLACE, LET ME GET TO IT ONE BY ONE LOCATION: THIS IS ROUGHLY 40-60 MINUTES COMMUTE AND WALK (ONE WAY) FROM DOWNTOWN CENTRAL STATION. ITS LIKE AN AIR BNB TYPE , YOU LIVE WITH THE PROPERTY OWNER, ALMOST LIKE AN APARTMENT COMPLEX ON TOP OF THE HILL, ITS CLOSEST METRO STATION IS CALLED LINDEBERG, YOULL NEED TO WALK ,,,, ATLEAST 20 MINUTES ONE WAY FROM LINDEBERG TO THIS PROPERTY, ITS SITUATED ON TOP OF A HILL, SO BE READY TO WALK HAHA IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS...... STAFF: WE HAVENT MET THE STAFF, I THINK MY FRIEND DID, I MET THE SON OF THE OWNER, HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO LET US IN, WE GOT IN EARLY LIKE 11 AM INSTEAD OF 12PM, THE SHEETS WERENT CHANGED YET, THE LAST GUESTS JUST LITERALLY STEPPED OUT WHEN WE GOT THERE, WE WERE SO TIRED (FROM CARRYING OUR BACKPACKS THRU THE WOODS , UPHILL WALK !!!! FOR 20 MINS) , SO WE JUST WENT TO BED FOR 2 HOURS AND WHEN WE WOKE UP WE DECIDED WE CANT STAY THERE, AND WE BOOKED IT FOR 4 NIGHTS WHICH WAS SUCH A SHAME. CANCELLATION: NO CANCELLATIONS FOR THIS PROPERTY, WE EMAILED THE OWNER SOME TIME BACK, I UNDERSTAND ITS BUSINESS AND ITS OUR FAULT TO NOT HAVE REVIEWED THIS PROPERTY PROPERLY , WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED ITS LOCATION THAT ITS ON TOP OF A HILL AN HOUR AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN AND REQUIRES LOTS OF WALKING UPHILL TO GET TO, MIND YOU, IM A MARATHONER AND MY FRIEND IS DOING HYROX, WERE QUITE FIT BUT E REALIZED FROM DAY ONE IT WASNT THE RIGHT PROPERTY FOR US, I GUESS FOR MANY PEOPLE SO JUST BE MINDFUL OF THAT . I CANT SAY MUCH WITH COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE, WE HAVENT SLEPT THERE A SINGLE NIGHT AND WE BOOKED 4 NIGHTS... IT WAS SUCH A SHAME AND WASTE OF MONEY BUT YOU LEARN THESE STUFF WITH TRAVELING. SOMETIMES ITS BETTER TO PAY A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE TO BE SITUATED DOWNTOWN! LOCATION IS KEY AND WE LEARNED OUR LESSON .

Olga was very kind. If you are looking for a quiet homely and good place to sleep. I would highly recommend this place. You have your own room. This is much better than the cheap dormitories around the city. You can rest properly and cook your own food.

Host was very responsive, polite and made you feel welcome. Kitchen was easy to use and stocked with all things needed to cook. Very quiet place. Easy to ride to train downtown. Oslo is a dream and so was this stay. Everything in Oslo is very expensive, so it was nice to save money on my accommodation which also was very good.

Cleanliness. The touch of comfort and coziness: coffee, some apples, tea was waiting for us upon arrival.
