NetherlandsOlivier is a wonderful host who has put so much thought and passion into this boat house eco lodge, which pays homage to his own time as a sailor. Everything is clean and easy to use, the showers are hot with great water pressure, and the kitchen has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the lodge is well heated. Finally, the view was remarkable. I have only good things to say about my stay here, and hope to come back soon!

The best place to stay in Sommaroy, don't look for alternatives, there's none. We stayed in other guest houses in Sommaroy, and there was no match to this majestic hotel. We stayed for three nights and extended our stay.

Beds are insanely comfortable, the room is clean and organized, the view is breathtaking, I was able to see the northern lights from the window, Ellie is lovely and very helpful, fast response time in the app, if you’re expecting to have the best stay, stay in house of Ellie! I recommend you to rent a car in the airport and stay here, less than 30 min from the airport/ tromso city, supermarket in the way.

Location is stunning and they are obviously taking measures to improve the diversity of the environment with meadow areas.

The most beautiful location! We could see the northern lights out of our bedroom window. The space was large enough for our three children, many hiking opportunities around, the opportunity to rent a private spa area for two hours, grocery market close by and the kitchen was great for cooking meals in!

Our room was superb deluxe on the 3rd floor in the main building,
Breakfast is really exceptional.
Nature and surround is absolutely stunning and we saw twice the Aurora (last week in March) of 3 nights. Thee and coffee facilities.

Sommeroy is a beautiful place, even in the winter! The drive onto the island was lovely even though it was snow/raining. The room was comfortable with a balcony and a good view across the small bay. Free hot drinks in the reception area was a bonus. It was very icy in the morning and the hotel had done a fantastic job of clearing/gritting the roads and walkways. The hotel also had an electric car charging point which we were able to use whilst we were there which was a bonus.

We stayed in a sea cottage on the water, it was incredible. the view, the location, the house was all amazing. we saw the Northern Lights from our room, our deck, the jacuzzi, etc. Truly remarkable location. The breakfast was great each morning. Sauna, jacuzzi and other amenities were terrific. Couldnt have picked a better place - we rented a car and drove around the fjords in the arctic light. Definitely would come back during the summer months.

Such a gorgeous location. Didn't even really need to leave the property for experiences. Saw beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife in the ocean just on a walk right outside our room. And I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna/ artic dip situation. Invigorating! They also have a gym so really could do a nature/wellness retreat there

The hotel is beautiful in a lovely setting with very helpful staff. Everyone was very friendly! Our room was pretty standard, but comfortable. The buffet breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
