Everything was top-notch (bonfire, dune behide the camp, quads), very clean, tasty food. All in all, perfect for family stay

They were very friendly during check-in. Separate from the resort, I had hired a private driver who attempted to extort me. Luckily I escaped the situation and a driver from the resort picked me up. Still, the driver continued to contact me asking for money and threatening to call the police. He even called the hotel several times. After explaining the situation the hotel staff were very understanding and helped to ward him off. Long story short, the staff will make you feel safe here! Anyway, they offer a range of fun cultural and physical activities to try. I did the Bedouin house tour, Sunset drive, Sand Boarding (highly recommend, good fun), and Camel ride. The food at the restaurant is good and portions are generous. The pool was nice and I wish I used it more.

Amazing spot in the desert surrounded by beautiful sand dunes. The camp itself is the perfect size (not too big not too small) to make the experience even more special. Tents are traditionnal and very comfy with great beds and a little bathroom. All staff is really nice and helpful. We made traditionnal bread and had a lovely dinner in the main area. Activities were fully organized by the camp before arrival. Thank you Alfarooq for making it so easy and enjoyable!! Full transfer from Muscat with a comfortable car and very reliable driver. Camel riding on the dunes Sand sliding Half day excursion in the desert with dune bashing and great driver ! We also enjoyed a very nice lunch under a tree in the desert with falafel rolls, fresh fruit and a plain option for kids with cheese. We absolutely loved our stay and we highly recommend AlSamardi Camp

Dream experience, maybe a two nights stay would have been than only one. They offer a lot of experiences in very relaxing location. Rooms are large and well equipped. Amazing swimming pool. Breakfast and dinner also very nice. Getting there is easy with a 4WD and OSMAND maps.

La Duna Desert Camp is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the desert but with a bit more comfort. We chose La Duna because instead of authentic bedouin tent since we wanted something cozy and relaxing, and it was exactly that. The camp has a great location: private and peaceful, but still easy to reach. The whole atmosphere is beautiful, warm, and a little romantic, especially in the evening. The food was delivered to our tent and it was absolutely delicious. We didn’t do any activities, but the team was so friendly and enthusiastic that we’re sure a 4x4 trip to the sand dunes with them would be amazing. A big highlight of this camp is the bathroom, it honestly feels like having your own mini spa in the middle of the desert. If you’d like a comfortable, charming, and quiet desert experience, we definitely recommend staying at La Duna Desert Camp.

What should I write about this magical place on earth. A unique and magical experience. Besides the warm hospitality. Very clean, excellent service, excellent access, excellent facilities, location. Really a 10/10 A must on your Oman itinerary. Don't miss the sunrise over the dunes - truly a once in a lifetime experience. A+++++

This place gave us most memorable and special experience!! The staff are super nice. Since it’s private camp, so only maybe 10 families live there, when we have meals together, travelers from different countries all like friends, so cool. I like the breakfast and dinner. We booked the most expensive rooms in this camp. They are exceptional.

I had an excellent stay at the villa! It is simply stunning! The person welcoming us was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. The location is great, it's a perfect desert disconnect while having the comfort of a luxurious villa. We did the sunset tour of the desert and camel ride. The host offered us dates from his garden, tea and coffee. It was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
