The property is a hidden gem just outside of the quant town of San Vicente, both the property itself and the area are unspoiled pieces of Palawan. The property is meticulously maintained even down to racking the beach everyday to keep potential sand flies at bay. It’s conveniently located about 5 min tuktuk ride from town where you can find most everything you need. Since there are only 5 rooms everyone has plenty of space and there is no fighting for sunchairs (as is common in many places now) in fact many days you maybe the only guest at the beach as others are off doing tours/sightseeing. What makes the property so special though is Roberto, April and the rest of the team, you truly feel like family when you are here and they do everything in their power to ensure you have a great trip from arranging local tours (even going so far to suggest to make a small group of 4 from the hotel so we could have a private boat, but still only pay the shared boat tariff) to making great sundowner cocktails to sip as you watch the sunset. All of the meals I had were incredible and felt like proper home cooking as all of it is prepared with great care and love. If you are looking for a quiet piece of paradise outside of the hustle and bustle of the typical Palawan destinations look no further, it’s has definitely been the highlight of my trip and probably one of the most special places I’ve had the opportunity to stay in all of my travels.

We loved all of it. The location was perfect, very near the beach and quiet. The pool was very clean and was perfect with children because there was some shadow so we were able to enjoy it fully! The breakfast was SO GOOD and the restaurant in general was delicious. The rooms were spacious, clean, well-equipped and really pretty. What we loved the most was the staff! They were so kind, welcoming and super helpful and responsive! We had some specific requests or needed specific help as we were with a few kids, and every time, they managed to accommodate our requests perfectly. We stayed only two nights and had regrets not to be able to stay longer. La Vida Bonita made us want to come back to San Vicente! :)

Great location, so close to the beach. Lovely pool, which is a game changer during the day if you don’t want to travel to coconut or white beach. Breakfast was fantastic. The room was spacious and clean with powerful AC. Staff super friendly and helped us with booking our transfer to El Nido.

Excellent customer service by the owner! Easy to communicate with and he connected us with tours. Place is near the bus terminal. Clean, spacious room. Great experience overall.

I honestly loved staying here. The place was super clean and really spacious, which made it feel so relaxing. It smelled fresh the moment we walked in, and everything felt new. And the mattress? You can tell they didn’t go cheap on it — it was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The staff were also very accommodating and genuinely nice, which made the whole experience even better. Will definitely book again.

Great base for a trip to Port Barton. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Greenview. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach. The staff is very friendly. Brian, our host, was great. Helped us book an island hopping tour and gave excellent advice. We appreciated the friendly cats and dogs as well.

A beautiful stay in Port Barton that perfectly balances convenience and tranquility. The cottage was lovely, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The location is excellent—close to all the lovely restaurants and attractions in town, yet tucked away enough to enjoy a peaceful and quiet environment. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with great hospitality in Port Barton, I would highly recommend Maison Payapa. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again.

We loved everything! The location is perfect, just a 2 minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and little convenience stores. WIFI is GREAT especially for remote workers. Has a little outdoor gym and a nice space for lounging, working, and whatever recreational activities you might have. The staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Room was spacious and exactly as what you see in the pictures, linens are great and bed is comfy. Airconditioning is nice and quiet. This place is perfect if you’re looking a bang for your buck! We had a nice stay and it made our Port Barton experience even better.

A laid-back location on a great surf beach. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. No need for shoes here, so relaxing. Great little restaurant a few doors down on the beach if you fancy a change but the food here is very good.

We stay here often when we visit port Barton. The staff are always so welcoming and helpful and the rooms are everything you need. They are clean and well thought out. Its a great place especially for the price.

It is very near the beach. Clean surroundings. Lady/Ate Ghagha helped me book tours, airport transfer, and bike rental. You see that she takes guest reviews and suggestions seriously as she continually upgrades their amenities. My concern with my room was attended to immediately. It's worth mentioning that she is accommodating with local tourists as well as with foreigners. Appreciate the free banana, bread, and coffee in the morning.

The hostel was very clean and sociable easy to meet new people even in off season ! The staff is great yoni made a rainy day into a day of fun

Very nice place, quiet and close to the beach. The family that owns the business have their own boat, they helped us with transfer and trip on the water and also with scooter rental. I recommend them!
