This classic old volcano stone home had stunning views of the water, with beautiful gardens on the property. Our host, Carolina, was extremely communicative and helpful, she went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. She also left us a nice welcome basket with local goods.

We recently stayed at Lava Homes on Pico, and it was an incredible experience. The eco-friendly architecture blends beautifully with the volcanic landscape, offering modern comfort and luxury. The temperpedic pillow was a nice upgrade for my wife. The location on the ocean was incredible. The food in the restaurant was very good also.

Easily the best house of our entire Azores trip! We received a wonderful welcome from our hosts, Rui and Paula, who gave us an extensive tour of the large garden and the beautifully renovated house—which they are, rightfully so, very proud of. They even treated us to local products upon arrival and were more than happy to answer all of our questions.

A beautiful, traditional home in a truly unique location. The AC worked great which was important for sleeping in this weather! Fully stocked kitchen, lovely bathroom - it's clear the hosts thought through all the things that guests would need to be comfortable - and then went beyond. The host was very communicative with things to do and recommendations as well. Thank you!
