Charming cottage in rural location outside Falun. Decor is very tasteful and different with period furniture and wooden floors. Conveniently located close to motorway junction. Separate shower and WC and own sauna. Well equipped kitchen where everything worked. Lots of wildlife (deer in garden). Quiet but agricultural area so you have to make allowances for the odd tractor. Room is combined living/bedroom but big enough for two people. Hosts are very helpful and approachable. Lots to do in the area so makes a good base to explore from.

Great location for visiting the copper mine, since the property is located just at the room of the large hole.
The room was pretty, clean and the bed very comfortable.
Breakfast was provided in a lunch bag and was big enough. Tea, coffee, cereals and crispy bread was available at all times and it was possible to store your own food in the fridge.

It is a beautiful location with a great view of the lake. We enjoyed every minute of it. The house was very clean and smartly furnished. The bunk bedroom was small and just for sleeping, but that suited us. Easy key collection at 2 am was a bonus.

Breakfast was fine, room comfortable. The hotel is a bit tired and the basin in our room leaked, but it was fine for a 2 night stop over in Falun.

The host is absolutely wonderful; so hospitable, kind and anticipating every need.
The beds were comfortable with lovely linnen, which sleeps great. The rooms spacious, the breakfast fresh & varied and location convenient. What a pity we could only stay for one night! Ps - the pictures on booking do not do justice to the lovely house built in 1750 and decorated so tastefully!

Very fair - everything is exactly as described and looks exactly as in the pictures, no weird surprises.
The hotel was clean and very cozy, all worked well and I felt that everything has been taken care of and provided beforehand. I really enjoyed my room - the interior was tastefully designed and the view on the mine was exceptional. Drinking morning coffee and admiring Falu Gruva was such a delightful experience!

Room was spacious,there was everything you need,comfortable bed,closet, couch,working table,private bathroom with shower.Everything was very clean.All the Sisters are so nice and asking if everything is good,if you need something.Area is in beautiful place with forests and lakes, wintertime looked magical. Buss stops close by, goes to Falun C, Hosjö, Vika. They have library! Its silent and calm here,good to run away from big city sounds.I was feeling safe and like home. Thank you Birgittagården!

Beautiful and quiet area located directly at the lake. The hut was small, but furnished well and equipped with everything we needed. The barbecue at the terrace is very nice as well.

A unique hostel on the edge of one of Sweden's most fascinating cultural treasures, the Falu mine. The building was old and beautiful, and all the common spaces were sparkling clean. My room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. There's also an excellent restaurant and a charming cafe just a two-minute walk away. Altogether a quiet and peaceful oasis in the charming city of Falun.
