United StatesThe place was absolutely lovely, down to the finest details like peppermint sticks and marshmallows for your cocoa. The kitchen was complete with everything you need including pyrex dishes for food storage. I also appreciated a complete spice rack and cooking oil. The decor was very cozy, simple and warm. Everything about the place was so clean and new. The location was also perfect, right near great downtown places, but also in the middle only a few miles from the two cross country ski trails that I come to Ironwood to ski; ABR and Wolverine. I felt so at home!

CLEANEST property I have EVER stayed in. I was blown away. It was like staying in an untouched jewel of the era in which it was built. Still has the avocado green tub and sink! And I mean - no grime ANYWHERE. No dust. Extremely quiet. Room was HUGE (2 queens and sofa bed). Fridge and microwave. So much room to stretch out. Absolutely this place is a *find*.

Although it is obvioisly a property that has been there since the 50’s/60’s, it is also very obvious that the ownership values cleanliness and helpfulness.
It has a funky parking lot ( not a big deal) and doesn’t provide a breakfast as most motels do these days. The staff and registration office provides helpful advice and discount coupons, if wanted, for many local eateries.
We enjoyed fresh cut flowers in our room !

Spacious room. Don’t let outside fool you; it’s an older structure but the rooms have been remodeled. This was easily the best room my wife and I have on our trip.

It was evident from the minute, we walked into our room that the proprietors took great pride in maintaining each room. The room was fresh, very spacious and meticulous! It was without question, the best mom and pop style motel we’ve stayed in! Highly recommend!

mini fridge ac microwave coffee maker all in working order.
Room wifi router issue owner helped me connect with office one.
Good conversation with the owners also borrowed us a light to check for yooper lites.
We will stay again- good people with good prices with a good comfy stay.

Comfortable beds. Very clean. Nice breakfast. Nice staff. Pool and hot tub. Very quiet heard nothing in halls or from other rooms. We were on lower floor heard no one above us.
