A lovely stay at Rod's place. He was a fabulous host and very easy to communicate with. The guesthouse is very homely and filled with quaint trinkets and antiques. The King room is very spacious and the views from the balcony are lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub on a chilly afternoon.

The property is in the perfect location with stunning views, walking distance to the local shops, nature walks and sporting grounds. It had everything we needed and more! Coffee machine, a variety of cooking appliances, spacious comfortable bedrooms, fantastic bbq area for a group of people to sit around and enjoy the ambience.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a spa room which was so lovely. Also had a lovely meal on Friday evening. Breakfast was very good also.

Awesome 3 bedroom home that is cosy with stunning mountain views. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, very well appointed. Backyard firepit and outdoor bath were a lovely novelty.

The room was very spacious, clean. Very happy the hotel upgraded us to the better room. Although the room had a spa, it was damaged (lots of chips and scratches) so we didn't use it.

This amazing building has been beautifully restored and is now a major local landmark. The views form the front bar across the river are superb. Rooms are nicely fitted and spacious. Lack of breakfast doesn't matter as there are at least three local cafes within 5 minutes and a superb coffee shop. Silva. The bars are great places to sit - especially by the huge picture windows - and the bar staff were lovely. The hotel is surrounded by all-day terraces. Special nights - 'Parma and a pot for $25' bring in a nice local crowd.

The villa is comfortable, spacious and very thoughtfully equipped. Highlights were the balcony with a beautiful forest view, and visiting cockatoos and lorikeets; the pool table that entertained the whole family, and the bbq and fire pit area for cosy alfresco evenings. Kalorama park is a short walk away, for a daily forest dog walk. We visited a few local attractions but our favourite time was spent relaxing together at the villa.
