RomaniaI’m not surprised by the high reviews — the photos show exactly how it is. The place has a calm vibe, great breakfast and coffee, and a garden full of life. The night tour was amazing, with red-eyed and glass frogs. We didn’t see a sloth in the garden but did at Mistico Park and at the hosts’ farm, where we ate fresh rambutans! We didn’t feel like a tourist here but part of the family. Truly memorable stay. Thank you Leo and Rosaura!

The staff are very helpful and kind. There’s a shared tea / coffee area and pool. Really great value. We loved our stay here.

The little bungalows were adorable and absolutely perfect for our stay. The on site hot spring was amazing! The food was delicious and the bartender made me the best cocktail I've ever had!
Everyone was friendly. We had a stunning view of the volcano from our bedroom window and the pool.
Highly recommended!

Enjoyed the location - just outside of La Fortuna so we were able to enjoy access to restaurants, etc. but also good access to Mistico Park and other attractions near Arenal volcano. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which was adjacent to the tree with lots of wildlife and felt very secluded. A smaller resort that was not necessarily fancy but very comfortable and the staff was very helpful!

We recently stayed in a two-bedroom apartment in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, and had an exceptional experience. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed and situated very close to downtown, which made accessing the many nearby restaurants a breeze. The host was fantastic, incredibly friendly, and saved us a lot of money by helping with activity bookings. We had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

The junior suit was very spacious, with jacuzzi and private terrace. it was tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. Hotel has a sizable pool and 7 hot tabs. Breakfast buffet has good selection, including local and American breakfast options. You do need a car to get to town, but it gives you piece and quiet, with lot's of nature.

As it was 34 degrees and the air was smoky, we really appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom.
It was quiet and in a pretty spot, being a few kms out of town.

+ Booked dorm room but was actually only use which was nice.
+ Big communal kitchen for only two dorm rooms. Was nice and well equipped.
+ Seating area was nice. Basically a two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms (one male, one female) so spacious and nice.
+ Location not too far away from centre of town. Walkable to supermarkets and to El Salto rope swing.

Set back from the road with a fantastic view of the volcano with two private little balconies , this room was fabulous . The air con in the bedroom kept us so cool at night .
The kitchen and bathroom were very clean .
It’s a very easy walk into town .

Very pretty location with lovely funky cabins on small ponds/lakes. Nice spacious cabin with comfortable places to sit. Marco was a wonderful host and helped us book tours etc. Air con in bedroom was a bonus as it was quite hot. Thank you!

The property was at a great location, a perfect size with good view from the master bedroom and a big yard. The washing machine was a lifesaver, host was very responsive, and the free hot springs were an excellent perk.

Mathieu and his wife were very nice and very helpfull. Mathieu picked us up from the AirPort and in the morning they helped us findiing a car.
The room is very nice with a large balcony. In the morning breakfast was served at our room sothat we could have breakfast at our own balcony.
And very good beds also!

The staff were so friendly and very helpful booking activities and transfers. The hot springs were a delight, the rooms were clean and spacious with a gorgeous view of the volcano. You could also get lifts to and from your room on the golf buggy. Buffet breakfast has an excellent selection and the gym had great facilities. Free yoga in the morning was a lovely way to start the day.

Great little two story apartment. Very peaceful. Quite Tico neighborhood. No other Gringos which is incredibly nice. The locals in the area are all very nice. The hosts are great people that will leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Full kitchen with a washer for your clothes. The master bedroom has an air conditioner.
