Special remark to the automatic curtain which avoid the direct sunlight exposure when we wake up around noon. Exceptional and attentive services. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook for ourselves for a few days. The bus stops to and from the city center were very close by and there was a grocery store a short walk away. Our room in the third floor was very hot, but a fan was provided and we kept the balcony doors open overnight, which helped somewhat. Great value for money!

A pretty hotel with mountain views and walks nearby. Good breakfast selection. Our room for 4 was big with a large double bed in lounge area and a separate double bedroom. Bathroom was large and modern. Both rooms had access to the sizeable balcony which had good views. . Friendly staff and free parking.

It was very nice place to spend a night with nice bedroom with balcony, shared bathroom, and shared kitchen with everything available. The landlady was very friendly, nice, and we received very very good hospitality from her.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Parking was right out front. Beautiful setting where you could have breakfast on your own private balcony or in a small, shared terrace by a scenic, running river. The personal was very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this staying.

The owner was very flexible in accommodating our needs and special demands, which made our stay a real pleasure. Located in a nearby garage, we got a parking lot for our three motorcycles assigned for free. I personally liked a lot the fact that our room had access to a huge terrace, useful to dry and aerate our gear at the end of the day.

Excellent host who was out to please his guests. Breakfast was great with cooked and uncooked options. Jan-Philippe was knowledgeable about the Black Forest area and provided many tips. The room was large and comfortable with a terrace and the temperature was just right. It was easy to reach. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend the place as a good jump off point for the Black Forest area as it is very close to Freiburg and other points in the region. We were pleasantly surprised to see housekeeping service our room.

Booked a family suite with a balcony overlooking the lake, exceeded my expectations, extremely clean and spacious, nicely decorated, beds are comfy. Marvelous views. Extensive breakfast options, all delicious. Super friendly and helpful hotel staff. Convenient souvenir shops inside and across the hotel. Beautiful sights close by.

What a beautiful location! The restaurant was very good, with fresh fish as their speciality. The working water wheel adds to the charm. The hotel has a spacious terrace to hang out on.

It was spacious and clean, could easily fit my wife, myself and my three kids. It was in a great location, with a fantastic view. Loved reading my book in the evening on the balcony enjoying the view.
A short walk to the restaurants and the train station (and of course the local train travel and most of the nearby attractions are free with the red card you get with the property)

We could do early check in and late check out everything worked out excellent. The appaertement is completely new renovated and very clean. It has a small balcony from the bedroom and a terrace from the kitchen. The supermarket is only 50 meters away. We had a very lovely stay and enjoyed the time there very much..

Charming boutique hotel situated in a fantastic location just a few minutes' walk from Hbf. Very convenient for visiting the old town too. The place has a lot of historic character and a lovely peaceful garden at the back. My room also had a balcony which looked onto the garden.
