The staff made us feel part of the family; all very friendly and laid back. Our room was very spacious and airy and the whole hotel was new and fresh and super clean. Being a former monastery, the location is nice and quiet and our room overlooked a forest. The breakfast was copious and they even made waffles for us! The breakfast room later doubles up as a cozy cafe serving nice cakes. You can also sit outside in a pleasant courtyard. All in all, this rates as one of our best hotel experiences ever. Highly recommended.

This stay was at a lovely two-bedroom, one bath small home. It had a kitchen and combined living and dining area. The host, Elka, was exceptional. This location is on the outskirts of the small town of Ottenstein. We enjoyed it.

Great location right in the middle of a small Harz village.
Friendly staff who also managed the adjacent restaurant.
We had one bedroom (good double bed) with a big TV, and a living room with a couch as the third bed.
Nice view from the sunny balcony onto the restaurant terrace.
Parking for 3 motorbikes next to the Hotel was available.
Breakfast was good.

All in it was an alright stay I guess. The room and bathroom were very spacious. Breakfast was alright, German kitchen is always a bit dated for my taste but that's okay. The room had a balcony, which was nice. Nice big tv so we were able to watch the Tour de France.

We were three adults and our room was two separate bedrooms and one big bathroom and one extra toilet. Good wifi. Easy to park outside the hotel. Good breakfast included. Late checkin possibility.

The family rooms were spacious. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and took good care of the kids. They for example had riddles, special surprises, candy and smoothies for the kids.

Centrally located in Glandorf, the hotel is part of a larger Gasthof with it's own restaurant. Our room was large, complete with it's own balcony and seemed to have just been refurbished. The owners are friendly and welcoming. There is a bakery and drinks store across the road, the other places are just down the road around 5 minutes away. A bus service serves Glandorf and the surrounding area for those that like to explore.

We have been in this property also 2 years ago and, because we happened to be in the area again we decided to stay here again. The choice was just great. We knew the place and it lived up to our expectations on the second time.
Right in the heart of the German Hertz area, you'll enjoy a variety of activities in the German hills being close to many medieval villages at your fingertips.
Our room was spacious and clean.

Newly renovated hotel, with beautiful details and some furniture from the old times. Easy check-in, even when the reception is not manned. We stayed in a room with terrace - the terrace was very small, but with a nice view, and the room was spacious and charming. Quiet location within the old town.

The breakfast was very specially made - brought to your room for you to enjoy! The location is very good! The old canal and the Schleuse (canal lock) plus the bike paths and of course Nordhorn. The large old Zöllnerhaus is pleasant and has lots of unused potential. The bedrooms and bathroom are remodeled well - more remodeled space would make the stay a bit better, and still keep the quiet small hostel like atmosphere.
