A fantastic place to stay in Plasencia, only a five minute stroll from Plaza Mayor, quiet and away from the noise. The apartment is very well appointed and it is spacious. We received a very warm welcome, too. Our bicycles were safely parked in a private underground garage belonging to a café run/owned by the same family. Overall a really positive experience.

We really liked everything: the inner courtyards, the showers, the local cookies in the room as we entered, the beds, the wonderful gardens on the property, the generosity of the host, the restaurant down the hill with great food.

Apartment was spacious for 2 people. Lovely and clean. Change of linen/towels half through our stay (never received this service in any other Apartment we've stayed in) really great service.
Lady who we conversed with on several occasions (not sure of her name) was exceptional and really wanted us to enjoy our visit in Torrejon and more importantly the apartment. Checking in was quite straightforward with Adam.

The location is everything. You're actually inside the Monfragüe Natural Park. One row of rooms with view of dehesa. If you want to watch bee-eaters and azure-winged magpies from the terrace, this is the place. But it needs a makeover. You feel the place was founded by a nature-lover in the 1970s and hasn't changed much. Food in restaurant good, copious portions, catering for Spanish tastes (which is fine by me). Think I paid €52 for a single room

Generous provision of breakfast items, and the distribution relating to individual rooms, allowed for flexible meal times. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Ideal accommodation for birdwatchers who come and go at different times, and especially early morning.

A great place to discover the scenic hiking routes of the Monfragüe National Park on foot from here. In the evening, young deer were starving in the courtyard, an excellent place to watch the birds and enjoy the mountainous scenery. It's a spacious cottage overall.

I was rather concerned when I saw that the hotel was in an industrial area. However, it only took about 10miutes to drive into the city. Our room was very quiet and clean, and we could see our car parked in front of the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. Dinner was extra, it was very simple but substantial and good value.
