Very friendly staff, and very accommodating. When they noticed we had some mobility issues they immediately suggested to change our room to a ground floor location without hesitation. Great location for nearby sight seeing. There was a lot of historical memorabilia, beautiful rooms and flowers to see. A couple of sections were setup as a museum. Beautiful gardening. All was very clean. Great breakfast!

Best value for money in the city. It’s a bit basic, but it has everything you need: hot showers, a decent kitchen, and friendly staff who give the best local recommendations.

Stay here!! It’s just new so it doesn’t have a lot of reviews. Staff were amazing, rooms were spacious and super clean, the location is really great. There’s a kitchen and so much space to chill.

I was looking for accommodation at the last minute and luckily they had a room available. I was even able to check in in the morning, which I really appreciated. Annas took care of me throughout my stay and he was really helpful and friendly. He speaks excellent English, so I was able to ask him about interesting things to see in Malang and Indonesia in general. I definitely recommend this accommodation😊

The location was perfect, next to the trail that leads down to the waterfall. The tents were equipped with everything, you felt like you were part of nature.

Besides being a very comfortable accommodation the staff at Ijen Haus were extremely friendly and helpful. They arranged at the last moment for me to join a group to visit the Ijen Crater. When an online train ticket vendor would not accept my payment method they offered to purchase the ticket for me and I reimbursed them!
