NetherlandsWe picked this place as it was half-way between Switzerland and The Netherlands. It turned out to be a very typical small town in the Ardennen with steep sloping streets, terraced houses and beautiful surroundings.
The house itself is quite old, lovely wooden staircase, and indeed, painted a wonderful framboise colour.
We had a large room with twin beds, which was great for my sister and I.

The location and the view over the woods and the hills is fantastic. The rooms have a special layout, very roomy and different from standard hotel rooms. In the forest on top of the hill (15 minute walk) there is a small basic zoo, very nice for children. The staff helped us out by storing our racing bike safely in the basement.

PERFECTLY located if you want to go to a concert at the Rockhal (even it was quite cold we could leave our coats at the hotel and went to the venue without any jacket as it's just such a short way).
Rooms are simple but everything is definitely sufficient for one night and it was clean.
Friendly staff.
Very nice and interesting surroundings.
Can't tell anything about the breakfast as we went downtown for it.

It's a next to a sushi bar, so at first the smell was a bit distracting. However, you don't notice that in the room itself. The beds were really good and comfortable, although it was a bit too warm for us. The room had a small fridge that you could fill yourself. PizzaHut, Lidl etc are next to it, handy.

Not much really, although staff were very friendly and helpful.
cleanliness is not up to standard, discomfortable odour inside hotel and room, double bed was 2 single put together with a hard middle, apparently hotel has NO double beds despite requesting it.
Carpet on floors to rooms very dirty, full of stains, in room, floor stained, bad odour, bathroom tiles really dirty.
We did not use the shower due to this lack of cleanness.

Easy to find with digital devices. Plenty of parking available once I’d spotted it from my bedroom window! Staff pleasant and attentive. Brasserie had a good selection of food and drink at reasonable prices. The bedroom had plenty of storage space for clothes which seems to be getting rarer.

Nice and helpful staff. Easy checking-checkout. Clean and spacious room. Private parking is open air, but if you have a motorcycle they might let you put it into their small garage. That's was very kind from them. Wifi works. Easy get-away from the city and directly connected with the motorway systems. Few restaurants and burger places around in walking distance.
