It is generally a nice idea to upgrade an old traditional accommodation to provide a special atmosphere to tourists. "Artisan" offers a spacious old apartment right in the centre of Kuldiga. It was equipped with modern bathroom facilities, including a separate bathtub in the middle of the room (really something special). The facilities were well equipped with clean towels, soap etc.
The double bed in the apartment was also very comfortable, with clean bedclothes.

Location is good, as around is calm and yard is spacious. Perfect place to stay with a family and pets. House is equipped with all needed. All was clean and cozy. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset from the terrace. I would recommend it.

The apartment is spacious, clean, in a great location - everything is nearby and there is even a grocery store in the first floor if you suddenly need something. In the apartment you can find everything that you may need for cooking or having a shower. Free parking is available in the yard. Beautiful views from the balcony

Nice, clean, cozy apartment, close to the beach and the main park. The apartment has everything one needs, even a laundry machine, refillable containers with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
The apartment has one bedroom with a queen size bed and a living room with a sofa-bed. The sofa-bed is uncomfortable for 2 adults (too small). The staircase is inside the old building - it needs remodeling. The apartment is on the 3rd floor.

Hotel has a very good location right near the main pedestrian street with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Free private parking onsite, although sat nav takes to to the nearby street instead and have to go all the way round to the yard as there are many one way direction streets. Spacious apartment with big living room that had double bed and bedroom with another double bed. Big master bathroom with separate shower and bath, and another toilet in the living room.

Dissapointed because apartment does not have bedroom and living room as stated, all is one space. Balcony is not safe, dining table and chairs only for two. Not comfortable to stay for family. Apartment is on a fifth floor without elevator.

Location of the apartment is great - next to the Concert Hall "Lielais Dzintars". It is spacious, has 2 bedrooms with double beds and one sofa in the common area.

All perfect, if i visit Ventspils i will rent their apartment again. Children 11 and 4 years old enjoyed their bedroom and toys. Kithchen, bathroom and bedroom is perfect for family. Close to the biggest children playground 10mins walk. There is also children playground behind the building. 20mins walk to the beach. Perfect environment to walk. 24/7 open market next to the building. Free 5G internet, TV has many channels.

The place is great - spacious, well-equipped, and comfortable. You can find a shared kitchen downstairs (for preparing breakfast or dinner), enjoy the meal in the terrace (in the yard) or in your room. The seaside is very close.
Parking is spacious, all communication with the administrator is also perfect - she welcomed us, showed the place, and introduced all the facilities.

We were a group of five and booked a Two-Bedroom Apartment and a Double Room. Although the rooms were located in two separate buildings, this did not pose any issue. The location was excellent, right in the center of the old city. The cleanliness of the facility was good, and the staff were very nice. The room was spacious, featuring a separate kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. The kitchen included a microwave, refrigerator, stove, kettle, as well as some tea and sugar

The location was perfect, close to the sea and other attractions. We had a very spacious apartment with a terrace which was amazing. The interior was stylish, the bathroom and kitchen was modern and the whole building was beautifully renovated.

Everything! The apartment was amazing! Everything looks so new, clean and nice. We had 3 bedrooms apartment, so every room was spacious with huge TV and all needed equipment. The kitchen also has everything what you need for 6 people to cook and eat/drink. The place is amazing also, next to the park and beach, but very calm, you cannot hear any noice. We were really enjoyed everything! Thanks!

I like the vintage atmosphere the building itself, the rooms and the decor. Our room had lovely three windows to the old town and that made the room very light. It was also very spacious. The location is perfect as well. The access and check-in is not as simple as in a classic hotel (no reception - check-in in a restaurant). But everything is well explained, so it was not complicated at all.
