United StatesVer picked us up from Calapan port in his car because we couldn't get a boat to Balatero port and it was such a relief after a long 3 hour boat ride from Batangas to Calapan.
Ver is probably the friendliest po I've ever met. His vibe, the way he talks exudes friendliness.
I liked the location as well. It's just well situated in the middle of the hill, no tourists which is good but keep in mind that you'll need earplugs since there's a lot of noise from dogs barking, roosters going crazy at 4am in the morning, etc.
Had an excellent stay at Ver's place. I highly recommend his place!

One of the best places we stayed in the Philippines.
Location - right on the beach. Beautiful landscaping and , trees and flowers. Swimming pool with a view.
Good size room with sea view, nice bathroom, kitchen section. Terrace will comfortably chairs. Lots of drinking water. Good breakfast and delicious lunch and dinner on second floor with a lovely view.
Personal amazing!
In addition motorcycle rental and massage on the premises.If I add Mediterranean architecture of the buildings - what else can be better?

the breakfast was good. I love the coffee. .Good selection for the breakfast. The place is naturedly beautiful. I love to go back again. I like the style of the accommodation, very spacious and beds are comfortable.

Sandstorm Lodge and Cafe is definitely one of the coziest places I’ve ever been! The room is fair-sized for 2 people. The foods are also delicious! and you can see how clean their kitchen is. Plus, everyone is so acommodating and friendly. 😊

The service was impeccable. The resort staff were all very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was lovely and the view from the terrace/restaurant/bar was beautiful. Once there, we found out that they rescue and provide care for stray cats and dogs, which is amazing. Petting the animals was also a much appreciated perk.
The room was not only pretty, but the most quiet and comfiest we had in the Philippines.
I now wish we had stayed there longer.

Two restaurants are just a one minute walk away.

The location is great, very central but away from any noise. The room was very spacious and comfortable with cooking facilities, tv with english channels and view towards the sea. Staff were very kind and friendly and the room was cleaned promptly every morning
