We liked the personal approach and introduction of the house. And also helped us orient us in the town.
Spacious, comfortable for the whole family.
Kitchen fully equipped with basic ingredients for a breakfast.
Washing mashine was also useful.

Everything, this is one of the all-time best places I've ever stayed. Incredibly comfortable beds, super nice rooms and property. Maybe the best staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. I look forward to the possibility of returning one day.

Value for money unbeatable!
The host is very friendly, the room is spacious and very clean.
And a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift is heartwarming (or rather palate soothing) - thank you!!
Breakfast sufficient and good.
We also enjoyed watching authentic village life, sitting in front of the accommodation on a bench, next to the church (and that is the only 'annoying' thing - the extremely loud chiming of the bell)
Highly recommendable!

The property had been superbly restored and our room was gorgeous. The welcome and the way we were looked after with a booking made for dinner at a local restaurant being so good we went back the following night. Breakfast was the best we have had. Our host was a a kind and generous man and we hope to be back next year.

Quiet and peaceful location. Service was very friendly and the staff did everything to make sure we have a seamless and relaxing time. If we wanted a late lunch on the terrace, no problem. Dinner was excellent and a real treat.

We loved this small hotel in the center of the medieval town. It was unexpected to see how well they transformed a quinta into a cozy, comfortable 9 room B & B. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It is a peaceful town and lodging for a few days of relaxation and exploration of the town and castle.

The absolute magnificient views from the terrace.
The cabin was really clean. The bread and spreads for breakfast were thoughtful. The staff, Elsa, was very friendly and informative. I would book this place again, no doubt.
Manteigas is a picturesque small place worth visiting. Driving up to Torres was spectacular, nothing short of amazing.

Easy to find with Google maps. Handy parking. Felt very welcomed. Spacious well appointed room, king bed, fresh flowers. Complementary morning and afternoon tea. Excellent breakfast with multiple choices and home baking. Gracious and unobtrusive hostess. THAN KYOU.

Both the room and the bathrooms were spotless clean. The facilities offered not only breakfast and vending machines but also a full equipped kitchen and an amazing terrace with a view of the whole valley. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave us great recommendations for the area.

I loved this apartment. I felt I could live there. Very clean and comfortable, and well equipped. Everything was in good condition and working order. Beautiful views from the covered roof terrace. The location is very central in the town. I didn’t meet the owner but the check in details were clear. He was polite and helpful when I contacted him by phone.

I have been using this hotel for many years as a stopover between Santander and Algarve and have always found it good value for money. On this trip we were upgraded to a Suite which we were pleased to see.
The Restaurant serves good food and Breakfast offered continental and British options.

Comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom home with an amazing view from the top of town overlooking Sabugueiro. Loved the balcony. The owner was not present but the neighbours who met us with the keys were lovely, welcoming and accommodating. The driveway to get up to the house is steep, as stated, but manageable in our 2wd hire car, though we actually needed 2 of our members (we were a party of 3) to get out so the engine could actually reach the top of the hill.
