Absolutely stunning lobby, lots of places to chill, service is impeccable. Nicest place in a funky and beautiful town. Room was huge, went Japanese style. So well appointed with outdoor onson in room, assorted robes, so clean and comfortable.

Location just next to Lake Akan, walking distance to Ainu village, I got an amazing lake view room too. Hotel gave me a gift when checking out.

The breakfast and dinner had many items to pamper us throughout our stay. I absolutely liked the scenery by the hotel with the lake as it can be an awesome backdrop for a Ghibli animated film
