The hotel is located in a quiet area, very peaceful. The private onsen rooms are so impressive, must try. The staff is very nice and helpful. I don't mind coming back if I have a chance.

I loved the quiet mountain location. The meals were buffet-style and quite enjoyable. I loved the open-air onsen and didn't even try the public bath inside of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, and I could get by with no Japanese.

I can't recommend staying at Nakadanaso enough! We stayed two nights and loved everything. A beautiful historic old building with so much charm. Our room was very comfortable and spacious, even more so than the photos. We loved the onsens, indoor with apples and outdoor warm and hot baths. The food was incredible, and very generous, with great wine options. And the staff were so friendly and helpful, and spoke English well. We borrowed their two electric bikes to visit the Nunobuki Kannon Shrine, which is a must. We felt so relaxed and looked after from our stay, we can't wait to come back.
