Ryokans in Niseko

I can’t imagine a better way to experience Niseko skiing. Our room was gorgeous, large, and with a beautiful view. It was modern and super comfortable, but the sliding doors, tatami matt, low chairs, and wood everywhere made it feel uniquely Japanese. Having an onsen in the hotel is awesome after skiing and in general made us really immerse in the Japanese way of life. We were a bit afraid of no shower in the room, but it was no problem at all, and we’re not even that adventurous. Many guests, inckuding us, walked around in the traditional covers provided. The food was amazing. Dinners were delicious, super Japanese, and exquisitely presented. Breakfasts had fantastic variety and super high quality. Some of the desserts were almost life-changing. The staff made us happy every day. Time and time again they would go over and above to make the stay comfortable. At the end of our stay, we left our phone in the lobby and boarded the bus to the airport, and the staff CHASED THE BUS to the nearest town and handed it to us which was just stunning and awesome!

The hotel is sooo good with their foods, facilities, onsen, everything. Very much enjoyable.

A true example of hoteliers accomplishment. Very professional. Delightful choice of samplings for traditional tastes every night and morning.

What isn’t to like? The staff are unbelievably kind and understanding even when we missed the bus to the train station upon check out (we had stupidly put a wash on in the washing machine a bit too late and it had ten minutes left when we were supposed to be checking out— YES the room has a washing machine!!! A haven for holidays and ski trips!) The accommodation was outstanding and the design and materials of the building everywhere were outstanding. The room? I could live there. Happily. And thank goodness for underfloor heating! The staff were somehow the highlight of this stay, despite everything being incredible. They accommodated a birthday request and helped me make it a surprise and I really deeply want to thank everyone there and I appreciated everything. I have so much to talk about despite only being there one night. The FOOD. Who ever the chefs are they sure know what they’re doing! I wish to personally thank and congratulate each one of the kitchen staff because they have superseded any expectation I had and genuinely there was nothing to even comment on? The menu was delicious, the private room overlooking the snow? Beautiful. The servers?? Outstanding. They were so kind yet professional and even fetched as much bread as we asked for (because it was ridiculously good and paired ridiculously good with the different butters and salts). I honestly can’t thank them enough!!! If you’re anywhere near niseko for the love of all good things book this place!!!

Fantastic facility, great food in the restaurant, clean bathrooms, friendly staff and a super convenient bus that takes you to the main ski hill. There were great restaurants close by as well!

The architecture, the room design and the nature integration is outstanding. You want to simply stay and enjoy. The food is excellent.
