I enjoyed my stay here for the price however it's very old school and pretty much self service after check in you need a basic understanding of these types of japanese hotels /inns to feel comfortable ...location is great right next door to surf stadium and the beach ....be advised shared bathrooms and shower area small room with tatami mats ...but i knew the routine and aunty working was very nice ...

This seems to me an old family business, still run by the old owners. The room was clean and even it was in a modern building it had the charm and the smell of the old ryokans. I could have my private bath in their onsen both nights, which was a brilliant first experience for me. I enjoyed it really. The water and the facility is heated with infrared waves which made it special. The hotel soon need to be refurbished a bit, but after all they give a service which exceeds the price you pay. I didn' t tasted the food they provide, but the small restaurant is lovely a place

A few blocks from the train station, this place is in a quiet neighborhood. I love the traditional Japanese tatami mat and futon set up. Their filter coffee for the rooms was delicious.
