The property was lovely and the surrounding area was peaceful and restful. The old house had once belonged to an early Danish king! There were horse boarding facilities there so we were able to walk around in the barn and visit with a couple of the horses, which was an added bonus. We were not far from Skagen, a quaint town, and the northernmost tip of Jutland where the Baltic and North Seas meet. Our host, Egon, was helpful and informative. We hope to return to Lerbæk Hovedgaard some day!
