Everyone makes sure that you are enjoying Cairo 🙂 I had read reviews and expected the building’s lobby to be a tad iffy, so I knew that the lobby was not representative of the hostel going in. United StatesI recently had the pleasure of staying at Mohamed's Pyramid View Inn during my solo trip to Egypt for a once-in-a-lifetime festival at the pyramids. As a solo female traveler, caution is key everywhere in Egypt, but Mohamed and his Inn quickly became a major highlight of my entire Cairo trip and I can recommend to anyone!
From the very beginning, communication via WhatsApp was always prompt and efficient. Mohamed arranged a taxi from the airport, which, although pricier than Uber, was 100% worth it. After a long journey from Los Angeles, I deeply appreciated not having to navigate the Uber situation in Cairo. Upon arrival, Mohamed was there to warmly welcome me and give me a tour of the Inn.
We got to chatting, and Mohamed shared fascinating stories about his childhood, playing in the "treehouse" facing the great pyramids. He shared his family's bloodline spans 5000 people! I can tell Mohamed has worked hard to open this simple yet extremely tasteful and hospitable Inn. Wishing him nothing but expansion!!!
The hospitality at Pyramid View Inn was exceptional—10/10. Mohamed went above and beyond, offering to wait for me early in the morning to ensure I got home safely from the festival. He provided room cleaning services and laundry at a clear price, and a variety of beverages including water, tea, coffee, and Turkish coffee - free of charge ?!. The included breakfast was simple but delicious and filling, and the rooftop view was absolutely breathtaking.
This is definitely the local hospitality Giza experience, and I loved every minute of my stay. Mohamed even spent over three hours chatting & teaching me some Arabic. Egypt can be a challenging place for solo female travelers, especially those on a budget and seeking authentic experiences. However, the view from the Inn is unbelievable for the price, and I felt so comfortable that I extended my stay by two extra nights.
I cannot give a higher recommendation for Mohamed and his Inn!!

Saudi ArabiaI had a very comfortable stay at Homztality Elbatal Mohandeseen. The staff were very respectful, flexible, and helpful. The studio was well equipped, and the appliances and furniture felt modern and high quality.
The location is excellent. It is on a commercial street with many restaurants, services, and ATMs just a few steps away. I stayed in a studio with a balcony on the 11th floor, which made the street noise much quieter than expected. The building also has a security guard, which adds an extra feeling of safety.
The price is very reasonable for the comfort and quality provided. I would recommend it especially for travelers who prefer staying in authentic Cairo neighborhoods while still enjoying a clean and comfortable place. It is also convenient for anyone who needs to visit nearby administrative offices or government institutions.
