Self-Catering Accommodations in Ivalo

This was the ultimate authentic Finnish experience where we were treated more like family than guests. The cottage is absolutely beautiful in a stunning location. We had our privacy, but our hosts were so friendly and accommodating to our every wish. The sauna is a must! Arctic Lakeside Holiday Cottage is such a relaxing place to recharge and connect with nature.

Property was excellent & consider all are brand new….everything good (kitchen, bed, laundry etc) Hosted by Ikka. He was nice and punctual. Guiding us like a friend😇. Recommended! Will be back next time Thank you

We felt right at home in the house. There is a lot of space, the sauna is great and the position near the lake is dreamy. We saw a deer walking past the windows and many Northern Lights. We had a rental car, so it was very simple to go to the supermarket or activities around Ivalo.

Very clean and comfortable. Great location, near the Ivalo town and airport. The resort area is very nice, next to the river. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The property is exactly as pictured. It’s super cute and so close to everything. If I ever visit Finland again, I will absolutely be staying here!

Location wise, It is very close to Ivalo airport and 10 minutes drive to Ivalo. House is located by the lake and few steps you can be on the lake. House is well maintained and host IIkka is very responsive to our needs. Thumbs up to IIkka. We came to Ivalo to see northern light. As house is secluded, we got to see northern light 5 consecutive nights.

The house is VERY well equipped. It even has a baby security gate at the stairs Quiet, beautiful surroundings, easy to see the aurora from the berm beside the river. Lovely fireplace with massive thermal inertia. High quality sauna.
