Self-Catering Accommodations in Aix-les-Bains

Walking the Chemin de Compostelle, we decided to take a rest day in Aix les Bains so we stayed here two nights. It was very nice for our purpose. Got off and back on the chemin near the Vions-Chanaz train station.

Location, hospitality, cleanliness

It is in a seniors apartment building. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good value. It is right across the street from the train station and a short walk to the centre of this old French town.

The hosts of this property did their utmost to help out in all situations. Nothing was too much or too little. The one bedroom apartment was well-furnished, with a kitchenette. I could do everything I needed to. The location was wonderful. A 5-minute walk (if that) to the train station and you are in the heart of the city of Aix-les-Bains. You can also walk easily to the lake. It takes about 20 minutes. And it was a lovely thing to be able to do at the end of a day's work.

The place is as close to the water front as it gets, the view in each morning was amazing. It is super clean, the bed is super comfortable, wifi is solid, and the host was super accommodating, gave me recommendations and answered all my needs. It was really great.

The apartment is very clean and has all facilities you would expect. Also the building has a Washing room for clothes. On request there is a baby cot and baby bath available. Julie the hostess is very friendly and accomodated our late arrival and smooth checkout. Lastly the location is perfect,, close to the town center.
