The cabin was perfect, everything was clean. Loved the shower. The TV was great, you could put your own netflix etc on it. Loved the peace and quiet. Bed was comfortable.

The location is in the country but close to several towns with restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. It is only 1/2 hour from Belfast. The property is kept immaculate, and our host, Michael, was so friendly and fun to talk with. Our 3 bedroom unit had ample dishes and cooking items that it would be easy to create your own meals. When we arrived there was a Welcome Package of pastries, butter, jam, coffee, tea, creamer, etc, which was nice to have. On top of all this, our hosts went above and beyond in helping us on two occasions...1st - to connect us with people that might be able to help us learn more of my husban's ancestors in Ballynahinch and 2nd - we had our car break down on our way to Dublin airport and the owner, Michaela, came to our rescue. We are in a remote (to us) area and she helped us secure a taxi to drive us to Dublin Airport in time for our flight. Every local person we met was so friendly and fun to talk to. Many thanks to our cab driver. Paddy, who drove at the speed of light, to get us to the airport. We would definitely come back and when we do, we will be staying again at Hazelwood Cottages in one of the stone cottages.

The cottage is cozy and clean to very high standards. There were various games to keep kids satisfied indoor or ample, well nursed lawn for them to let off steam in safety. We had a tremendous time. Pamela is very affable: complete 10. Thanks.

Very romantic, beautiful and elegantly decorated by the owners. It’s very close to the Game of Thrones Studio Tour (15 mins,) 25 minutes outside Belfast and just a few minutes drive to Royal Hillsborough, Northern Irish Royal residence. The breakfast option was an outstanding option for us and the little kitchenette was fully stocked for our stay. Every single detail was covered and nothing was overlooked. We are already planning on coming back. It’s unlike anything else out there and well worth the experience.
